Ladies Of Dubious Virtue Arrested And Fined

Featured Replies

As part of its on-going commitment to clean up the promenade along Beach Road, police from Soi 9 station conducted a sweep on Thursday night and asked 14 females who seemed to have no particular reason to be out so late at night to accompany them back to the station for further interrogation.

Police told the women they suspected they were engaged in exchanging their sexual favours for monetary recompense, which is illegal in Thailand. Of the women, aged between 20 and 50, nearly half were known to police as they had previously been charged with loitering with intent. Part of the reason these ladies might have been targeted is the majority are hardly potential candidates for any kind of beauty pageant.

Whatever the reason, they were all profiled and fined 200 baht before being released and told to find more suitable occupations.

and anything else associated with the charade .

they leave men of dubious virtue alone! If they didn't there would go 99% of the farang population in Pattaya :o

I guess the budget doesn't stretch to sleeping with them first anymore, must have blown all the tea money last time.

Good police work. Prostitution is out of place in Pattaya.
