pagallim
Just some thoughts. The adopted son is 32 years old, and lives in Khlok Kloi (this is the first town in Phang Nga, 5km after crossing the Sarasin Bridge). Aparently he gave swimming lessons to local (Thalang) youngsters using his adopted father's pool, though didn't live there. The offences seem to be from the last couple of years (first investigated December 2020). The father will have been 76 years old. Obviously this will (maybe) all come out in court, but there have been countless occasions in recent years where sports coaches of all descriptions have been found to have sexually abused their students, whether that be football, swimming, gymnastics, etc. In short, those working directly with children. It could be that the father is guilty of nothing more than facilitating through allowing his swimming pool to be used and may have known nothing of the abuse if they existed. It could be that he's just an old guy who's lived in the area for a long time, made friends with the locals, and is harmless. We'll see. Just giving an alternative here, and maybe people shouldn't be so quick to jump on the 'hang 'em high' wagon' before the actual facts are forthcoming.
