Do you have a link to the specific covid entry insurance. I found "travel insurance" but it covered only when I was travelling, not any days after re-entering Thailand.

When you go to their website, look a the top menu bar and click on "Buy Insurance Online". Then click on "Insurance for Thailand Pass". Here's the page link: https://direct.axa.co.th/TA-Inbound/CoverageOptionPlan

So from that link, which is likely to be correct, unvaccinated travelers  are required to have a RT-PCR test either prior to arrival (within 72 hours) or on day 5 of a quarantine.

That sounds remarkably different from “There are no compulsory tests for any method of entry from May 1st”

so my supposition of the continued requirement for a test for unvaccinated entries is shown to be correct, if those are the May 1st onward rules.

Yes, from reading the Thai only graphic provided by Ricchard Barrow I think the next line whiich he didn't put in his translation may refer to that.  It's certainly something about PCR testing.

Assuming the insurance requirement remains in place, would the OP need to get another 30-day insurance coverage ($10,000) for their second and third entries?

Has anyone seen any policies/pricing for the new $10,000 cap? For those planning a few weeks/months out?

We are still waiting on insurers to release pricing for this option.

But given the last reduction we don't expect prices from the bigger insurers to decrease by much.

You can see a price comparison against 8 of the most common insurers here for COVID policies:

https://AQ.in.th/INSURANCE

The cheapest options are provided by FWD, and WORLD TRIPS (offer daily rates).

You may obtain a 1 month policy at minimum, or less if you have a return flight.
