Chonburi Governor warns residents of counterfeit LINE account imitating him, allegedly defrauding people for personal information

Chonburi – The Public Relations Department Of Chonburi Province issued a warning about a counterfeit LINE account imitating the Chonburi Governor Mr. Phakhathorn Thienchai, allegedly trying to steal people’s personal information.

Thursday, April 21st, Mr. Phakhathorn revealed to TPN reporters that someone had counterfeited his LINE account and used it to deceive people for their personal information by asking them to scan a QR code to report about Covid-19 matters.

Well I can understand the confusion as its difficult to distinguish between real and fake as both behaves in same manner....Fraud, corrupt and scammers.
