Five injured as Nonthaburi authority van overturns in Prachuap

Siam Rath reported on an accident involving a van that ended up on its roof in the central reservation of the Petchkasem Highway at KM marker 389 +200 in Bang Saphan, Prachuap Khirikhan yesterday.

 

The grey Toyota had the logo of the Nonthaburi administration.

 

The accident happened at a bend in the road during a rain storm in slippery conditions. 

 

Driving was 45 year old Mana In-ort who said he was on his way to Surat Thani.

Five male passengers were taken injured to Bang Saphan hospital.

 

They were all from Nonthaburi and were named as Ronnachai, 47, Nawakan, 32, Thannop, 33, Thawatchai, 52 and Thaworn aged 45. 

 

Bang Saphan police are investigating the cause of the apparent one vehicle accident.

Come on the driver is only 45 years old.

 

So he can’t have experienced, what happens to the road surface when it is rained on after a dry spell often , can he, be fair give the guy a break.

You're probably right @Tubulat. Note that the lamp post has been knocked down 'away from camera' which indicates that was the direction travel before impact.

Give the guy a break? Because why?   How about incorporating road, traffic and weather conditions when driving and then adjust accordingly…

 

He obviously did not in order to flip a van and made worse in that he was probably hired to drive people from A to B…just another factor in the driving equation which he did not even consider…willful negligence causing injury
