Photo by VnExpress/Bui Toan The number of visitors to central Vietnam for the Reunification Day-Labor Day holiday has exceeded expectations. During the four-day holiday, from April 29 to May 3, Khanh Hoa Province, home to beach town Nha Trang, saw 275,500 visitors, a 119 percent increase from the same period last year. The province's hotels and resorts were 87 percent full, with tourism revenue reaching over VND529 billion ($23 million). Nguyen Thi Le Thanh, director of the Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism, said thanks to favorable weather conditions, tour packages and tourist destinations have attracted high number of visitors.
