Local police in the Kathu District of Phuket believe that the death of a 22-year-old Australian tourist on Tuesday night in the Patong area of the resort island was the result of a tragic accident when he fell from the 11th-floor balcony of his luxury hotel.

Police have also revealed that unopened packets of the prescription sex drug Viagra were found in the deceased’s room together with a half-full bottle of Thai whiskey and an empty bottle of Chang beer.

Officers also believe that the young man had used some of the sex drugs found in his room.

Why a 22-year needs viagra is beyond me. I enjoyed the erotic body of a 19-year old Poseidon Model in her birthday suit for almost every night for a full year and made her pregnant without any viagra and I'm 58.

Guys think Viagra is some magical drug that will enhance pleasure, make you last longer, etc. Reality is that you only need it when you get older and there is a hot girl in front of you and you still can't get it up!

When young guys take Cocaine for example, mixed with alcohol etc, getting an erection can be difficult, hence the reason for Viagra.

I experienced this amongst a younger group of friends in my younger days, although I was never really into the drug scene, I would limit my alcohol intake as it was pointless to me taking a gal home and not being able to perform, defeats the purpose really.

RIP, got to feel for the parents having to accept the death of their child, now a young man who went on a holiday with friends to have fun.

How absurd. You may as well report that there was a pack of Marlboros found on a table.

That would be the point of purchasing them.

Opened or unopened ....I am confused?

Balconies jump for falangs are always considered accidents in Thailand, so says the constitution.

I’m 192 cm and there were two hotels I stayed at in Bangkok where the balcony was so low I could have easily fallen over had I leaned up against them. They might be fine if you’re 175 or 180 cm but all it takes is leaning against one that’s lower than your center of gravity.

The only thing puzzling about this case, is what happened to the 'several whiskey bottles' they found on yesterdays report that have now turned in beer and sex drugs

The photo in the original linked article showed a bottle of JIm Beam about half full and a (blurred) bottle of Sangsom almost full.

That goes for 90% of most tourists rooms?
