The US spouts off about freedom and democracy while all over the world they destroy it, sometimes violently through violent street protests, if there is a violent protest anywhere in the world, you can basically bet your house the US has its fingerprints all over it. Thailand has not escaped this either.

 

I suggest people look at Thucydide's Trap... When a current power is threatened by being usurped by an emerging power, it invariably results in war, it has happened 12 times out of 16 through history, that is a 75% record so far, and when you apply it to a murderous, highly armed and militarised regime like the USA you can assure yourself it is going to be 13 out of 17.

If you are going to list countries involved in geopolitical interference don't be selective; you only show your bias.  Russia, China, North Korea, Iran, Saudi Arabia and Israel are all involved in various types of political, economic, religious and social interference.  This is carried out through the use of debt traps, heavyweight threats, physical violence, spying, corruption and social media engineering (propaganda).

News: The US--whomever you are talking about---CIA/NSA/CHAOS/SPECTRE---really doesn't give Thailand more than a moment's thought. Thailand is of scant significance in the 'big picture'. That's a bit of a mixed blessing...in one sense, the US isn't ever going to interfere, because it doesn't care, but---for example---if Myanmar attacked Thailand, the US would send 'thoughts and prayers', but little more.
