Jomtien Beach Stalls

Hi.

Are the beach chair vendors still operating on Jomtien Beach, serving food and drinks?

If so, is it every day or closed on certain days like a few years ago?

Will be visiting beginning of August.

Yes, they are there.  Probably by August there will be more.

major works on widening of beach at south end of jomtien.

after widening a very few beach chair remains there. Punters don't want to seat on chairs some 100m from the shore.

But at sunset, and long into night, there are beach restaurants, with lights.

Pretty nice, romantic, and busy.

Between those restaurants there are free patches for setting your own mat, table and chair.

Over hundred food and drink pick ups and tables along the pavement.

Definitely difficult to park here and there is a constant traffic jam

Yes but there  is one day a week they close for beach cleaning. The OP might be interested in a current  thread about the issues some farangs have with the idea of paying for deck chair hire.

Yes and they sell weed also, but only the krap thai brick...

Beach chair prices ther is another thread.... 30-100 baht was mentioned. Strictly speaking, smoking on the beach is not allowed, but you will see it frequently.

Well I guess if regular smoking is not permitted, along with vaping, I suspect weed smoking is too.
