Brazen shooting: Yet another young man gunned down in suspected inter-college rivalry

Siam Rath reported that police who arrived near a university in Muang Nonthaburi yesterday found bloodstains on the pavement outside a convenience store. 

 

It was yet more crime related to suspected inter college rivalry. 

 

Samarthi, 25, a fourth year engineering student was taken to hospital but died from his wounds. 

 

The media had a picture of his bullet ridden body in an ambulance (not used by ASEAN NOW).

 

He was reportedly shot multiple times in the abdomen, ribs, left arm and back.

 

Sukanya, 60, a roti seller, said she saw the victim run out of a noodle shop before he was gunned down. Two men had arrived on a Honda Wave motorcycle. 

 

She thought there were four shots fired. 

 

The media called it yet another brazen shooting of a rival.

THose two educational institutions have been fighting for years, and killing each other, and for what reasons?  So disturbing to know that a life is worth nothing to the people here in this country.  You get more jail time for hunting mushrooms in a national park then you do for killing someone....
