Get a lot of these guys - [or just one who comes often?] 

 

They don't seem to bother anyone - is that an egg sac or stinger?

looking at the abdomen? - Mud daubers have a very thin connection to the thorax to enable it to swing under something and sting it. they are normally very UNagressive.
