77kaoded reported with video and still pictures after the trailer of a BMA truck overturned and crashed into a high voltage power pole on Route 314 - the Chachoengsao to Bang Pakong Road.

There were widespread power outages in the Paet Rew area as well as severe traffic jams as a result of the accident near a temporary U-Turn for bridge works.

The accident happened at about 5.30 pm yesterday and trash intended for a landfill was spread over the footpath.

No one was injured.

ASEAN NOW notes that there were unusually high winds in Bangkok and the surrounding areas yesterday afternoon.
