Accused Jan. 6 rioter who warned of possible 'civil war' expected to testify to House committee Tuesday

Tuesday's Jan. 6 hearing is expected to focus on the rise of radical extremism.

July 11, 2022, 1:48 PM

An Ohio man who accused Joe Biden, other Democrats, and the mainstream media of "treason" is set to testify in a public hearing Tuesday before the House committee investigating the attack on the U.S. Capitol last year, according to a source familiar with the matter.

The hearing is expected to focus on the rise of radical extremism in the United States, and the source said one of the key witnesses will be Stephen Ayres of Warren, Ohio, who recently admitted to illegally entering the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.

A former spokesman for the Oath Keepers militia group, Jason Van Tatenhove, will also be testifying Tuesday, the source said.

Sounds like desperation.

It's not clear what this guy will testify about.  But I'd imagine he'd say he was brainwashed by Trump and was just following orders.

It's been 553 days since January 6, 2021 protests at the capitol building and the attempted overthrow of the US government and now it is reduced to and comes down to this testimony, and the hearsay testimony of this nobody no one has ever heard of. LOL...my goodness I think the only sheep fooled by all this are those here, on AN

Does anyone here actually think Trump or any revered MAGA members are going down here, based on this stunt? Please step up and say so and articulate what evidence supports what charge? Please indicate uour case for prosecution.

I'll wait, give you a chance, give you a chance to make your prima facia case and articulate the criminal indictments based on the evidence (or lack of). Please share here.

Also, does anyone know why the J6 did not/ has not asked Cippilone and or the USSS agends (engle/ornato under oath to verify, corroborate cassidy hutchisons hearsay testimony? They did not and it will be omitted this morning in J6 infomercial hearings. Strange, they will not present this 1st hand source evidence in this mornings hearing, but expect all Americans to believe uncorroborated hearsay evidence from C Huthchison!?

How can anyone seeking the truth take this seriously!

America can all look forward to a red wave blow-out in Nov 2022 mid-terms.

I will respond to legitimate questions any posters here may have.

Continued references to testimony as 'hearsay' will result in a formal warning and suspension.  It is a committee to investigate.  It is not a a court of law.

Referring to testimony as hearsay is inflammatory and incorrect.   It is permitted.
