No confidence debate: Chuwit says Anutin will get the highest "trust" score

Firebrand former politician Chuwit Kamolwisit went on his personal Facebook page to deliver some scathing remarks about the no confidence debate raging in the House.

And some cryptic and less cryptic messages of support and opposition.

Describing a corrupt system he said that politics never taught anyone to be any good.

Politics turns doctors who treat humans into witch doctors - mor phee.

Turning to politics corrupts even the good in a single night.

He described Capt Tammanat as a complainer.

He said that fighters get wounds and politicians should know how to lose, how to know when they are beaten.

But also you must know who your enemies are and who are your friends, keep them close but in differing camps, continued the wily former politician.

Then in a Thai way he essentially said "keep your powder keg dry ready for firing".

Chuwit then predicted confidently that Thai Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul would come out smelling the sweetest from the no confidence debate, reported Siam Rath.

He would get the most votes of confidence.

He alluded to another from Saraburi related to the letters อ (or) and ช (chor) who would do less well.

Chuwit - also a convicted felon - is the go to person in the Thai media for alternative political opinion that many take as gospel, notes ASEAN NOW.

Sounds about right, after all he's clearly the most xenophobic member of the government, and not afraid to call a paying tourist a dirty farang when he wants to. Given his enormous wealth, he's probably one of the most successfully corrupt members of the government too, so what is there for the other politicians not to like, lol?

Uncle Chewy doesn’t care what others really think, so speaks truths some hate. He knows a whore when he sees one and with politicians he’s got a wide view.

Prayut going could be the worst thing for Thailand, better devil you know than the angel you do not.

Anutin is lets say challenged in many ways and while the nonsense he spouts may be popular locally, I only see him embarrassing Thailand if he was to become a PM.

I also think if he does come out as a PM, then its a clear game where a yes puppet is needed.

Someone with no shame and no abilities to even comprehend

Basically Chuwit said nothing.

Unfortunately he will be the next PM, he has a huge backing.. ????

And it will be time for expats to pack there parachutes

Only if the same electoral format is maintained. I really don’t think he has a big following with the general population but I’m sure he could find a way to worm his way in.
God help us!!

I've liked Chuwit since he <deleted> Thaksin off and sent the bulldozers in to the market on Sukhumwit, which is now Queen Sirikhit's Park. Long story, but he's a very funny and very canny man.

Well, if Anutin and Thammanat are the future of this country .............

I think you are referring to Chuwit Park, which he sold few years ago to L&H.

He doesn't care what others think and can say what he wants because he has the funds to do so and insider knowledge of the system that they can't shut him up.

Ah, that may be. I haven't lived in Bangkok for thirteen years, now. Chuwit is the only one of the old political crew that I know of. I don't see any others as entertaining as he is, but I've grown old and don't pay much attention any more.
