Employment contract draft - is it any good?

Hello everyone,

about the start a new job soon. In this case an employment contract is required.

Because I am the first and only foreigner in this company, the owner said I should draft a contract and let it review by the company.

I've drafted an employment contract from several internet sources and would like to know if there is anything missing or wrong (especially for me as employee). Btw, both sides agreed to make the contract as a fixed term contract for one year with possible renewal.

1. Not sure the last sentence in 8.2.2 is necessary.

 

2. Probably needs a clause on compensation payment if termination without appropriate notification ie according to Labor law.

and if the employee leaves without serving the appropriate notice does he/she have to pay compensation?  Happens all the time.... staff quit no notice. painful to say the least

1.6    This Contract has been concluded for a definite period of time till …………….

 

Perhaps could be adjusted to:

 

1.6   This contract has been agreed:

              From starting date .. .. ....

              To finish date  .. ..  ....

              However the contact can be renewed if both parties agree.

maybe for low wage jobs. just pay them daily and both sides are good
