The Royal Thai air force request to purchase 2 Lockheed Martin stealth fighter jets has been approved by the House budget committee at a cost of 7.38 billion baht, A down payment of 3.69 billion baht has been allocated for next years budget, 

 

The air force plans to replace it’s aging aircraft with 12 jets due to be purchased between now and 2032 costing nearly 22 billion baht.

 

6 people will be charged over the death of celebrity actress Nida "Tangmo" who fell off the back of a speedboat in February. 

 

The boat owner and 5 others will face charges of negligence causing the death of another person amongst other charges.

 

Thailand's civil aviation authority has advised Thai airlines to avoid air space around Taiwan, following the Chinese government's declaration that airspace is a “dangerous zone” due to its military exercises in the area.

 

A third case of Monkeypox has been confirmed, A 25 year old German national who entered Thailand last month has now been admitted to hospital in Phuket.
