A fire at the Mountain B pub in Sattahip left at least 13 people dead last night. Many were found near the single entrance having tried to escape,

 

At least 18 people received severe burns while many other suffered from smoke inhalation, 

More than 20 Fire trucks took over 2 hours to bring the blaze under control, the cause of the fire is still unknown.

 

The CCSA Center for Covid-19 revealed there are more than 28 thousand daily infections, and the death toll is also on the rise. The CCSA is due to assess the situation again on the 19th of August.

 

Police have identified two bodies as a Vietnamese woman and a Nigerian man found buried in a grave in Nakon Ratchasima last week. The woman’s breast implants contained a serial number and the man’s was identified through his fingerprint.

 

Several cartridges and bullets were found less than two meters from the grave site . Investigations into the murders continue.

 

Two young activists have been released on bail after being detained for 94 days under charges of lese majeste, the two had been on hunger strike for more than two months.


Nine suspects have been taken into custody, following a shootout between two gangs at a BIG C car park in Ubon Ratchathani on Wednesday evening. 3 people were killed and 6 others are recovering in hospital. Gun violence in Thailand is the second highest in Southeast Asia after the Philippines.

 

Gunshots were fired at a passenger train in Narathiwat yesterday. One bullet entered the locomotive driver’s front window at head level.

 

The driver and engineer were unhurt, initial investigations indicate the person who fired the bullets had intentionally aimed at the drivers cabin. The train suspended its journey and passengers transferred to another service.
