snoop1130 Posted August 10, 2022 Share Posted August 10, 2022 Anti-establishment groups are holding a rally at Thammasat University’s Rangsit campus this evening (Wednesday) to commemorate the second anniversary of the August 10th, 2020 protest in which the ten demands for reform of the monarchy were made. To ensure safety, Pathum Thani police’s explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) unit has swept the rally site and the nearby swimming pool for explosives ahead of the official start of the rally at 5pm. People started to arrive at the rally ground at around 1.30pm, even before a stage was erected from which speakers could address them. The issues to be addressed this evening include internal affairs, both within and external to the campus. No further details were given.
