Trump Starts Global Tariff Wall, Thailand Hit with 36% Tax
Very mysterious. Someone. And, as well, very cryptic. You really should not be afraid to say what you mean, and state it clearly. Because, as your comment stands now... Your comment clearly says absolutely nothing.... Let's be clear. Say what you mean. No point in having everyone guess what you MIGHT mean, if, in fact, you had intended to convey any meaning, at all. -

Speeding Lorry Slams into Parked Pickups Aiding Injured Man, 2 Dead, 5 Injured
Picture from responders. A road crash in Suphan Buri province early morning on 4 April, claimed two lives and left five others injured after a speeding 10-wheeled lorry crashed into two parked pickup trucks that had stopped to assist an injured motorcyclist. The incident occurred on the Wat Suan Tang–Don Kha Road in Moo 2, Sala Khao subdistrict, Mueang Suphan Buri district. Officers from Mueang Suphan Buri Police Station, along with forensic doctors from Chao Phraya Yommarat Hospital and local rescue teams, responded to the scene. Police discovered the body of a man, identified as Mr. Wong, aged approximately 55, lying beside a wooded area near the road. Around 30 metres from his body, a damaged white Ford four-door pickup with Suphan Buri licence plates was found at the roadside. Underneath the pickup, the crushed body of Mr. Prakong, aged 49, was found entangled with a motorcycle. Nearby, the 10-wheeled lorry that caused the crash had veered off the road into a ditch, its cargo of crates strewn across the scene. A second pickup, a white Toyota Revo, also registered in Suphan Buri, had been hit and shoved off the road into a patch of reeds on the opposite side. Two fatalities were confirmed, Mr. Wong and Mr. Prakong, while five others sustained injuries, including Mr. Thanakorn, 46, who had initially been injured in a separate motorcycle incident. Mr. Prayoon, a witness and father of Mr. Thanakorn, explained that he had gathered five friends, including Mr. Prakong, to assist his son following a motorbike crash caused by a rock on the road. They drove in the Ford pickup to retrieve Thanakorn and take him to hospital. While loading him into the truck, another good Samaritan, a woman driving the Toyota Revo, had also stopped to assist. Suddenly, the speeding lorry ploughed into the group. Mr. Wong was struck first, then the lorry slammed into the back of the Ford pickup, which was shoved forward, hitting and fatally crushing Mr. Prakong with the motorcycle. Thanakorn was thrown from the back of the vehicle and severely injured, while others nearby, including the woman driving the Toyota Revo, also suffered injuries. The lorry driver, Mr. Rungreuang, aged 54, stated that he had just delivered ducklings and was on his way home. He claimed poor lighting and decorative lights from a nearby ordination ceremony had obscured his vision, making it difficult to see the parked vehicles. Police administered a breathalyser test to Mr. Rungreuang, which returned a reading of zero alcohol. He was detained for questioning and charged with reckless driving causing death and injury. Investigators continue to collect evidence and will pursue further legal action as appropriate. One of the injured, Ms. Rungrat, aged 34, who had been driving the Toyota Revo, remains in critical condition. -- 2025-04-05
