RATCHABURI, Aug 22 (TNA) – Police sought the extended detention of a policewoman who allegedly assaulted her helper who is a former soldier.

 

The police corporal together with her lawyer on Monday arrived at the Muang Ratchaburi police station for additional interrogation. It was expected that police would oppose her temporary release because the victim and her family said they had been threatened and feared for their safety.

Sad, but this is very common here; watching too many Thai amateur soaps; same for the amount of daily senseless shootings, acting out what is seen on TV.

Of late, I observed that the courts are taking a more upper hand on this situation that seems to be spiraling out of control.
