The cabinet yesterday endorsed Deputy Prime Minister Prawit Wong-suwon with full prime ministerial powers, including making key budgetary decisions.

Police in Chiang Mai have arrested 6 gang members who used a bank logo to defraud some 200 victims who had applied for loans online. Applicants had to fill out a form online then pay a fee between 300 and 1,000 baht, after paying they were blocked.

 

A 5-million-baht reward has been offered for information leading to two women, including a well-known YouTuber, both women in their 30’s face charges of swindling more than two billion baht from some 6000 people through an online trading scam.
