Would it not be better to have a crackdown on crime every day.? Like Police forces in other countries have. How about patrolling officers on foot and car actively looking for crime.

WHO WOULD HAVE TOUGHT OF THIS????

If the government would train, pay and give the police the proper tools, it may help a lot. Now they get pittance for pay so take bribes. If they want a gun they have to purchase one and they, not all, have to ride on their <deleted>ty motorbikes. They need to step it up like most other countries if you ever expect any change.

I have even seen police taking the police vehicle for a car wash and paying out of their pocket for it. Ridiculous.

Needs a crackdown on foreign drivers, obviously. In proportion to their numbers, they drive worse than Thais. Saw a bunch of them pulled over the other day for not wearing helmets and then failing to have proper driving licenses.
