Suspended Prime Minister Prayut has insisted his 8-year term in office did not expire on August 24th, but should be counted from when the revised constitution came into effect on the 6th of April 2017.


His comments were taken from a written statement to the Constitutional Court, which was leaked yesterday.

 

The Health department announced that Covid will be downgraded from Dangerous to a communicable disease from the 1st of October, the minister of health noted the number of people requiring oxygen was falling and the number of fatalities was generally due to other underlying conditions.

 

A court has directed Bangkok’s local authority the BMA to pay 12.6 billion baht to the BTS skytrain for operating the Green Line extension since April 2017. Bangkok’s governor Chadchart Sittipunt said the BMA would appeal the verdict.


The Ministry of Health will secure 3 million doses of the  Pfizer vaccine to be given to children aged between six months and five years.


The first shipment is expected to arrive next month.
