Someone informed me that an Indian passport holder, if goes to Cambodia by land, will not get a visa on arrival on the way back if he comes back by land. He would have to fly back and take a visa on arrival at the airport.

Does anyone have information on which checkpoints give visa on arrival for Indian passport holders, by land? Need the cheapest alternative to flying out and back.

And if its not possible, which would be the cheapest route to fly out and in to get a visa on arrival?

Thanks! I am not sure Indian passports can get a Thailand visa in Laos. Will have to find out.

The closest airport to Nong Khai is in Udon Thani. Nong Khai is the land checkpoint to Vientiane (Laos). When you leave Nong Khai you cross the famous Mekong River over the Friendship Bridge.
