Thief breaks into room and steals donation money in Pattaya

Pattaya — A thief broke into a woman’s room in Pattaya and stole money that she intended to donate to a local temple.


Pol. Lt. Chatchai Rakkwamchop from the Nongprue police station was notified of a burglary on Soi Krom Tan Man 6 in Banglamung’s Nongprue subdistrict yesterday evening, September 8th.

 

The victim was a Thai woman named Mrs. Thatchaphan Kuncharoen, a 42-year-old native of Koh Larn. She told police that a burglar had broken into her rental room through a front window and stolen her cash worth 1,000 baht and two amulets. The woman said that she felt sad and disappointed as she planned to donate the money to a local temple.

It was probably a cop to save her a trip to the police station.

Lucky she wasn't at home when it happened... might have turned out worse.

So that was the only thing stolen, well the perb was probably in need more than government sponsored monks who don't pay Zilch for food, accommodation, or the women that do all their cooking.
