Is it because girls do not usually post? In any forum? I do not think so. So maybe, it is because of us. What do we do to scare them off? And can we change? This is the same situation in most Asian countries..... Thailand is not an exception. If 100 or 200 men are active on this forum, women should be maybe 5 to 15..... somewhat around 5 to 10 percent..... And do not expect the Thai wife to post in the same forum as her foreign husband... Honestly Brue, some threads could get all too heated up for an average Thai girl to get involved. Lots of threads are about Bar girls and their sick buffalos or whether or not her mother really needs an operation. I mean.. what's the point? And besides, some men can't handle it when a woman joins in and discusses some certain topic. It simply hurts their ego. That's probably put the girls off a bit. How could a woman enjoy reading about bargirls and all thats associated with them on a everyday basis. I must admit I at times partake in the " bargirl " banter and have fun with it to an extent. But I now see the error of my ways ( this is only my feelings, the rest should do whatever they want, im not judging anyone ) For me it is a pleasure to have a lady's point of view on Thailand and to listen to and learn about their experience's . Bluecat has started a valid post but I feel he quoted the wrong part of my original post, I thought I had summed it up when I sais that ThaiVisa.com was no more of a boys club than Thailand itself.
