kwilco
Seems strange that there is no forum to discuss ecological, conservation and wildlife/ nature issues. Thailand has some pristine forests, some of the best natural resources in SE.Asia. Tourism which relies on this, forms 20% of Thai GDP. Yet much of the countries natural resources are under threat. There are severe wilife issues affecting both flora and fauna. Thailand is regarded as a major hub of the illegal wildlife trade. There are serious pollution issues. (v. The EEC corridor) Sea, rivers, soil and air are under threat...property prices are suppressed in some areas. There is a section on cannabis, on cars, on bit coin....surley some are concerned about the future of the Kingdom?
CharlieH
Start "topics" on the subjects in relevent areas if they gain enough following and interest, a forum can then be submitted for consideration.

It would seem that ASEAN NOW don't recognise topics as eco related.

You can choose your own topic title and write your own topic, and it can be as eco as you want. If there is no suitable forum you can always post in the general forum. I sincerely hope your topics gain traction because we are always looking to create new forums. One example of a new forum is the electric vehicle EV forum, which took off nicely after it was opened. May I ask where that is? Because the major thread about EV's is still a topic in the Motor Forum - Motor Discussion Or do you mean " Alternative/Renewable Energy Forum" Edited September 29, 2022 by MJCM 1
KhunLA
Judging by the lack of replies, amount of negative replies, in the 'eco' topics, EV, solar, alternate to fossil anything, there doesn't seem to be to many members concerned about anything eco. Along with being anti-China, without there wouldn't be any affordable alternatives to fossil fuels. Forgetting most of their electronic & auto rely on China to supply them, whole or parts of. Will complain about their electric bills, air pollution ... but ... Or complain about plastic bags, and endorse cutting more trees down for paper alternatives ... ????
