77kaoded Thai Caption: Kitten stuck down drainage shaft for 2 days

 

Poh Teck Tung rescue services were called to an area near a temple in Tha Muang district of Kanchanaburi, western Thailand, after residents found a kitten in a drainage shaft.

 

They were unable to get down the shaft and help the tortoiseshell moggie.

 

Chaiwat Malapong went down the six meter deep shaft and got the kitten that he thought had been down there a couple of days.

He decided to look after her himself giving his new pet the name of "Choke Dee" - Lucky. 

 

77kaoded further reported that Chaiwat is no ordinary rescuer. He's an instructor and lecturer who is able to catch snakes with his bare hands.
