Western Union charge £12 to send that ammount, but it IS fairly instant, and you done need prrof of ID, and, should the place have a computer link to W/U then it shouldnt take but a few minutes of form filling.

Best places to go are 1st Choice or Co-op Travel

Moneygram charge a similar £12 fee btw

Find out if they'll accept PayPal. If they do, it'll be cheaper than wire transfers or Western Union. The money is deducted directly from your account in the U.K. And the vendor can then have the money deposited directly in their checking account. It's a great operation.

Thanks , for the info, Ive tried to set up a paypal account , but as my UK HSBC bank account

address is here in Thailand , paypal won't accept it and as I said I don't have a credit card

( again a possible problem with HSBC UK and my account address being here in Thailand )

so it looks as if the only to pay this USA company would be an International Money order ..?

so its back to trying to arrange this option ...

Thanks

just get an international money order from any bank....

for paypal to work in thailand, you need to open an account at bangkok bank and link it to the branch in New York. To do this you need to send an email to customer support at the New York branch.

with all this said, i have done the above steps, but couldnt get it to work because someone hacked my paypal account and paypal locked down my account.

what i usually do when buying products overseas, is to send them an atm card and put money into the account when it gets to them.

That doesn't seem too wise, what if they overdraft it?
