MAF666
Have a Mitsubishi 155 water pump for our domestic system. 30000 litres rain catchment. Been looking for a way to shut the pump off automatically when a tank is empty, or if a cistern is leaking etc. Has anyone used the “inching” functionality of a smart switch to manage this? Seems like I can set a timer that will switch off after say 10 minutes from when it is switched on.
Dan O
They make electronic float switches and pressure switches for this purpose. Go to the pump store and they should have what you need.
MAF666
Thanks Dano, We have 14 tanks connected, looking to manage the pump, not the 14 tanks, Most important consideration is to turn the pump off if there is excessive use, due to a leaky cistern or other incident where the pump will empty the tank.
