Barcelona won 1-0 against Celta Vigo to go to the top of La Liga in Spain and Napoli won 4-1 at Cremonese to move back to the top of the Series A table in Italy.

England have been drawn in the same group as Italy - the team that beat them in the Euro 2020 final - in qualifying for Euro 2024 in Germany.

Scotland will be in Group A along with Spain. Wales will face Croatia in Group D, while Northern Ireland are joined by Denmark in Group H.

The Republic of Ireland face a tough task as they are in Group B alongside the Netherlands and France.

F1 - The predictable Formula 1 season is over as far as the champion driver is concerned. Max Verstappen clinched a second title after dominating the Japanese Grand Prix in heavy rain.

Verstappen headed Sergio Perez in a Red Bull one-two after Ferrari's Charles Leclerc, who crossed the line second, was penalised for cutting the track and gaining an advantage on the last lap.
