Tha Muang police in Kanchanaburi in western Thailand were alerted to an accident on the Saeng Chuto old road.

It happened by a bend in the road near the entrance to a temple.

The driver of a Toyota Vigo was travelling at speed about 8pm last night when the driver lost control at the bend.

The Toyota plowed into two other pick-ups, three cars and seven motorcycles.

Most of the injuries were thankfully minor ones and there was no loss of life.

Most of the people involved were eating at a roadside restaurant.

Miracle of Life and other rescue agencies ferried many victims to an area hospital, reported Siam Rath.

"traveling at speed" is usually how vehicles travel.

But it might be informative to know at what speed in this story.

A tad too much speed is all you need to know.
