Opposition parties plan to ask Thailand’s Election Commission (EC) to dissolve the Bhumjaithai Party, for alleged violation of the Political Parties Act, over its policy to decriminalise cannabis.

New rule for cash deposit machines from November 15th

From November 15th, people who want to deposit cash via cash deposit machines (CDMs) in Thailand will be required to identify themselves by inserting their credit or debit cards and entering their Personal Identification Number (PIN) or password.

A THAI citizen has been found to be infected one of two descendants of Omicron’s BA.5 subvariant, called BQ.1 and BQ.1.1, that are adept at dodging the protective antibodies from prior infection or vaccination and spread faster, TV Channel 7 said this morning (Oct. 18).
