Krabi And Phuket International Airports Showed More Strong Increases In May.

The Airports of Thailand or AOT have released their latest statistics for Phuket International Airport in May 2007. They showed a total of 3029 aircraft movements, up 32.21% on May 2006. The total number of passengers, including both international and domestic, showed 177,826 arrivals, 195,045 departures and 1,606 in transit, in total 374477 which was a 19.46% increase on May 2006. The total freight showed 1,149 tons in and out, a 20.82% increase.

Meanwhile the Department of Civil Aviation released figures for Krabi International Airport in May 2007. They showed a total of 796 aircraft movements, up 51.76% on May 2006. The total number of passengers, including both international and domestic, showed 30,753 arrivals, 35,359 departures with no transits, in total 66,112 which is a 74.02% increase on May 2006. The total freight showed 98,265 kilograms in and out, a 33.53% increase.
