Get ready for Meatfest 2022, a brand-new food and music festival making its way to Pattaya on the 29th – 30th of October 2022. Hosted by BBQ lovers with a keen appreciation for high end ingredients, creative food preparation and various BBQing techniques, Meatfest will be the ultimate foodie weekend out.

 

This two-day event provides a great opportunity for the public to partake in a unique culinary sampling experience featuring various barbecue meats, traditional sides, and artisan products, many of which are produced locally. A selection of local and imported craft beers, wine and additional beverages will be available.

 

A daily cooking competition will pin several teams against one another allowing those in attendance to watch the action from start to finish. Think “iron chef” with chicken, lamb, pork ribs, and beef cheeks serving as main ingredients. For the adventurous, a chilli chicken wing eating competition is scheduled with heats on the Saturday and the final on Sunday. A line up of bands including Power Jam, Paul Jackson band and The House Shakers will entertain crowds into the evening.

 

We are thrilled at the response we have received so far from sponsors and patrons who can’t wait until October to be part of the festival. Thailand has always had a wonderful association with food & tourism. Barbecuing adds a new dimension to this, with Meatfest set to become an annual staple to the culinary calendar.
