Has my monthly visit to the heart doc ,its an extremely busy place and you need a Thai to help you,but i have been there a few yrs ago when i had my heart attack and it was very good ,today i had my blood tests ,a months supply of 7 of my heart meds and my consultation with the heart doctor ,ive always used my pink card ,dont let anyone tell you ,that its not cheaper for us ,oh yes ,the whole lot cost me 980 baht .

I assume you mean the regular (regional level) Chonburi Hospital? As there is no dedicated heart hospital in Chonburi. Just the regional hospital (which covers all specialties) and a separate cancer hospital.

I've noticed that women with jobs at banks, hospitals, etc., simply do not frequent normal bars. I'm so tired of the exact same bar lady questions "how long you in Pattaya" etc. etc. I'd really like to try and meet a woman with a regular job, who is not a freelancer or bar lady! Does anybody know of anyplace like that in Pattaya (or anywhere in Thailand for that matter). You're welcome to PM me if you don't want it to be public knowledge for obvious reasons! Anyone know of a reputable motorbike repair shop in the Central Pattaya area? I fell off my rental motorbike a week ago at about 25-30km/h and ended up badly scratching the plastic front-side section of the motorbike quite a bit. I presume the only way for them to fix this is for them to order a replacement of the plastic front-side section and throw out the old one? Roughly how much would something like this cost, ballpark figures?

I think the obvious answer is yes they are. Do you agree, or not? The video details many specific points making that case. I don't see very much at all to disagree with in it. There is one thing. That's a very obnoxious slice of toxic rhetoric. However as you're talking about why people retire abroad, it is true that a top reason for a large segment of people is geographical arbitrage. They may or may not be able to afford to retire at all in their home country, but the goal with geographical arbitrage is to get the proverbial more bang for the buck elsewhere. That can be done domestically to a certain degree by moving to cheaper at home places. Thailand is indeed on the list of such countries. It's not a matter of expectation. It's still a matter of economic reality even though Thailand has gotten a lot more expensive. Other major target countries like Ireland and New Zealand aren't.

When I hit "Pay now" on Shopee, I get a QR code. This old Luddite doesn't do QR codes--my mobile is not connected to the Internet. There is a drop-down menu which includes my choices: Cash on delivery or Credit cards. Clicking on them doesn't work. Anybody else have this problem? (God, I hate QR codes. Queuing behind some idiot who does have card or cash!)
