It’s been confirmed that a 27 year old Thai woman was among 153 people killed while celebrating halloween at Iteawon in South Korea.

Around  100 thousand people gathered at the first major Halloween event since Covid-19 rules were lifted, many were crushed in the narrow streets leaving at least 153 people - including 22 foreign nationals dead - and at least 133 people injured.

Bangkok authorities are concerned at a halloween party due in Khao San road this evening, and have beefed up crowd control  measures.

 

A Malaysian tourist,  32 year old Mr Azmi paid almost 100,000 baht to four people after he damaged their vehicles by driving erratically in a car park at a tourist spot in Hat Yai on Friday. 
The cars were damaged by flying debris, the owners filed complaint with police.

Officers later stopped Mr Azmii and his wife in their BMW at a checkpoint bordering Malaysia. Mr Azmi agreed to pay 99 thousand baht and apologized for the incident.

 

Thai and Malaysian Authorities have rescued a 13 year old girl and 4 others who had been forced to work in a brothel in Kuala Lumpur by 3 thai women.

The three were arrested at a hotel in KL while 2 other Thai suspects were traced and arrested in Chaocheongsao and Chon Buri. 

 

A former policeman nicknamed Jo Ferrari" will be charged with being unusually rich and will loose assets worth around 1 billion baht these include a a luxury home and 29 cars valued at over 100 million baht.

The former cop is currently serving jail time for torturing and killing a drug suspect in custody, after trying to extort 2 million baht from him.

Philippines: Emergency workers scrambled to rescue residents trapped by floods in and around Manila after Tropical Storm Nalgae swept out of the country after killing at least 48 people.

Officials fear 80 to 100 more people, including entire families, may have been buried by the deluge or washed away by flash floods.

The storm is currently heading towards Hong Kong.
