Thailand’s economic think tank predicts 3.2% growth this year

Bolstered by recovery in the tourism sector, Thailand’s economic growth for the whole of 2022 is forecast to be 3.2%,without further need for major economic stimulus packages, according to the National Economic and Social Development Council (NESDC).

Police officer killed and several others injured by car bomb in Narathiwat

At least one police officer was killed and ten others injured by a car bomb at a police apartment block in Mueang district of Thailand’s restive southern province of Narathiwat at around noon today (Tuesday).

Draft bill to protect consumers from defective goods endorsed by cabinet

The Thai cabinet approved, in principle, a draft bill today (Tuesday), which seeks to hold businesses accountable for goods sold to consumers which are found to be defective within two years of delivery.
