A Chinese businessman, who is suspected of being involved in “grey business” in Thailand, surrendered to the Thai police, at the Police Club on Vibhavadi Rangsit Highway today (Wednesday), to acknowledge charges filed against him.

The businessman, Chaiyanat Kornchayanant, aka “Tu Hao”, was charged with trafficking in narcotics with more than two other people. He denied the charges, saying that his lawyers will explain to the police on his behalf.

The Bangkok South Criminal Court has also issued a warrant for the arrest of another Chinese businessman, Chen Yang, on the same charge.

Every day now, they're going after the Chinese.

Nothing happens without a reason.

He was escorted to the nearest stationery shop to buy brown envelopes.

Wasn't it this one who was ' well connected ' to a thai political party ?

He was probably advised to surrender as it became too difficult to hide his involvement in illegal businesses .

But , his high placed ' friends ' will take care that he does no time in a thai prison ...

I doubt he will even see the inside of a police station. Note where he surrendered -

I'm sure it will all be sorted out with another donation of 3 million.

They are going after criminals because Chuwit made it very public who they were and where they were operating...

prior to that nothing was ever done about it.

Just saw him on TV entering police station in cuffs
