Hi there

Coming over at Xmas after 30 months away, just want to get everything straight with a little help, please.

Baht bus standard prices, ie from View Talay 7 to Pattaya, and around town, I assume 10 baht?

Beach chair prices in Pattaya and Jomtien, both styles?

Anything changed I should be aware of that's changed, ie Cops, etc?

Thanks, and have a great day!

A big change from 3 years ago is no Chinese groups and buses, yet. Treetown is the main place in town now.

Everything else is pretty much the same, bars, restaurants have come and gone and replaced by others.

Baht bus still 10 baht, i think beach chair prices have been capped, something like 40 baht i read

Yes, massive changes. The cops are closing everything at 2-3am every night and doing nightly raids on the clubs. Don't bother coming, it's not like the good old days.

I have not used baht busses lately since to my eyes they seem too full for my liking,,

Bolt is a app you should download to go around. For me walking, scooter and bolt are means to go where ever i want

Grab and FoodPanda are also must if you want to order home some food..

If Baht bus price is your concern, you can relax.

If drink prices, ladydrinks and barfine in WS Gogos are your concern, check your savings

Closing time 2 AM.

Under discussion to change to 4 AM.

A lot of businesses have gone south since Covid but no lack of entertainment. On the other hand, new names, lots of changes as usual in Pattaya.

Still terrible road construction in Pattaya, can lengthen Baht bus trip. Usual traffic chaos on weekends.

Jomtien fairly quiet (was there in first week of November).

Lots of huge new buildings on Naklua rd.

Demolishing to make room for even more.

Basically no more facial masks in public with exceptions (some Thai people).

Many people still wearing masks particularly in malls, banks, offices etc.
