Rescue services in Ang Thong province, central Thailand, were called to deal with a fierce cobra in the living room of a house in Ang Kaew sub-district, reported Sanook. The 1.5 meter long snake was by a wardrobe and was displaying it's hood and not going quietly. The experienced snake catchers used their bare hands however and the serpent was soon on its way back to nature. Houseowner Thuwanit or "Jay Muk". 45, told how she had dreamed of a snake and awoke to find one for real. She took it as an omen for the next draw in the lottery at the end of next week. She plans to play the number 79, the number of her house. -- © Copyright ASEAN NOW 2022-12-10 - Cigna offers a range of visa-compliant plans that meet the minimum requirement of medical treatment, including COVID-19, up to THB 3m. JCauto
I had this happen to me once when I lived in Thailand. Woke up after a weird dream about a snake, which was particularly strange as I seldom remember dreams. Went downstairs and to my shock discovered a snake on the beam above the stairs. Went and found some neighbours who assured me it was harmless and shooed it away for me, then insisted that the next young woman I was to meet would be the one I would marry. I did shortly thereafter meet a lovely young woman (how unusual in Thailand), and was particularly intrigued given this prognostication. Alas, was not to be and I moved eventually to Cambodia without a wife. My conclusion was that the snake got in the house and went to snuggle up to the only warm thing in it, which happened to be me.

Which of course is why you haven't won the lottery
