I am a UK national under 50 and wish to extend a 90 day non immigrant visa due to expire tomorrow obtained in Hull Consulate without any documentation presented. Can anyone advise if i can extend such a visa at the immigration office (or have to do a visa run) and if so do i need to provide any documentation here in Thailand? I have nothing to present except my passport with visa stamp and return ticket since i am basically just here on a long vacation! Also if i do get an extension, how many days will i get stamped in my passport?

Cheers,

KC.

Since you are under fifty, have no Thai Bank acct., and have no monthly imcome to submit, you have no choice except a visa run.....and quickly. The penalties for overstay are severe. Good luck, ErnieK

Theoretically, no extension possible in your case (I assume that you have neither wife nor child of Thai nationality). If you can show a ticket out of Thailand within the next 7 days the Immigration office may give you an extension until the flight date, if you ask nicely.
