Man sets fire to motorbike after getting ticket for DUI

A man in Ha Tinh Province is facing criminal charges for setting his motorbike on fire after failing to persude police officers to spare him from DUI penalty.

Nguyen Van Tu, 32, was put under house arrest Thursday as police investigated him for "resisting law enforcement officers performing official duties."

Tu was stopped by police for an alcohol check while driving a motorbike along National Highway 15B on the evening of December 9. According to the police, he refused to take the breathalyzer test and began yelling at them.
