Music to them is not as important as it was to us. We expressed ourselves through the music we listened to. They have youtube and tik tok to aspire to. If America bans Tik Tok as it is threatened to do, a lot of American Teenagers will be absolutely mortified. This video is from half a century ago. Hard to believe but it is a fact. Check out Dea Matrona girl band on youtube to see talented Irish girls playing rock guitar. Pity they will never be big.
