Bandersnatch Posted January 5, 2023 Share Posted January 5, 2023 (edited) When I was on a condo building committee in Thailand we discussed using solar to power common areas, but there seemed no way for individual units to benefit directly. In the video below they discuss a solution that allows power to be generated on the roof of a condo building and the resulting ac power to be split between condo units. Over a month each unit will receive the same split of power. The sweet spot seems to be buildings of 5-6 floors any taller and the roof area does not make it economic.
