ozimoron 22290
My non O visa expires in May. I'm planning a trip to Hong Kong in March. If I get a multi entry exit permit beforehand will it also apply to a visa extension in May or should I buy a single entry exit permit for that trip and a multi entry at the time of extension? DrJack54 25038
You need a reentry permit to keep your current permission of stay valid till prior to your extension. So yes a single reentry permit then if required in the future another reentry permit after you obtain your extension . Yes, I get that. I'm wondering if I'm wasting money on a multi entry exit permit before the current one expires if I only take one trip before it expires. If I bought a multi entry now, would it apply to the newly extended visa or would I need to get a new exit permit for trips after the renewal? A reentry permit expiry date will match that current stamp. It will not apply to your 12 month extension. 1
