PPTV 36 reported on the closing stages of the delayed 2022 Miss Universe pageant in New Orleans, USA.

 

Representing Thailand in a YouTube video that can be seen HERE is "Anna Tiger" or Anna Sueangam-iam.

 

She was wowing the pageant in a sexy orange swimsuit, a demure evening dress and a glistening silver set in the "National Dress" category.

 

Her national outfit was called "Songkran Thewee".

The TV media reminded their public that the final rounds will be on in Thailand from 8 am Sunday next.

 

Thailand has crowned two Miss Universes - back in the 1960s and 1980s.

 

The names Apatsara and Bui are etched into the Thai psyche.

 

Will Anna have what it takes to join that illustrious pair?

Sueangam-iam was born on 10 November 1998 in Bangkok, Thailand. As a child, she grew up in a garbage dump because her mother and father work as garbage collectors for the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration in Bangkok.^[4][5][6] Due to the hardwork of her parents, she stayed with her great-grandmother who was a buddhist nun until she graduated from college.^[7] Sueangam-iam graduated, with first-class honour (Gold medal) from the faculty of liberal arts and science, Kasetsart University.^[8][9][10] She has one-fourth of German ancestry, making her the sixth consecutive Miss Universe Thailand titleholder of the past 7 years to be of Eurasian descent.^[2][1

Well I'm sure she is female, but really she's not that pretty.

 

Thai woman can be extraordinarily pretty and graceful (I'll lump Mrs G in there even though she can be as acidic as Hell) but I'm sorry I don't see it in this lady. 

 

She's pretty enough, but not I think the best that Thailand could produce

some of the most beautiful Thai women I've seen are just regular ladies walking the streets in BKK.

Indeed. These Miss so n so competitions always seem to be loaded with over the top done up ladies with excessive features. Seems to impress the judges. Each to their own, but if she was walking down the street in normal garb and makeup she’d no doubt turn heads. 

I didn't know the Miss Tiffany pageant was taking place in the U.S. this year.
