CCTV Captures Fatal Crash as 25-Year-Old Driver Slams Into Power Pole – Two Dead
Picture from responders.CCTV courtesy of CH8 below. A road crash occurred late night when a 25-year-old man lost control of his car and crashed into a roadside power pole, killing both himself and a female passenger. The entire incident was caught on CCTV from a nearby plant shop. The crash took place at approximately 23:30 on 17 April along Highway 401 (Nakhon Si Thammarat–Surat Thani), outbound from the city centre, in Moo 10, Pak Phun Subdistrict. Police from Mueang Nakhon Si Thammarat Station and rescue personnel rushed to the scene following reports of a severe collision. Upon arrival, emergency services found a black Toyota sedan crushed against a utility pole. The vehicle was extensively damaged. Inside, a woman was found dead in the front passenger seat. She was identified as Ms. Sunisa, 23, a resident of Ron Phibun District. Her body bore multiple severe injuries. The driver, Mr. Athibodi, aged 25 and a resident of Mueang District, was found critically injured behind the wheel. Rescue workers used hydraulic cutting tools to extract him from the wreckage. He was immediately transported to Maharaj Nakhon Si Thammarat Hospital but succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival. CCTV footage from a roadside nursery captured the moment the car driver lost control and veered into the pole at high speed. The exact cause of the incident is still under investigation, with police examining all potential contributing factors. -- 2025-04-19 -

"Slaughterhouse" Remark Sparks Legal Action at Khon Kaen Hospital
+1 Here’s the “because…” part of the plan—the rationale—which was missing or not fully activated: Preventing misunderstanding through structured, low-cost communication mechanisms helps reduce emotional escalations and reputational risk. It aligns ethically with patient-centered care and makes fiscal sense by lowering the chances of legal fallout. No, I’m not writing a book on it. What has been written here hits the point perfectly, no need for a book. And no, I’m not submitting a policy proposal about proactive communication in critical care. Just stating what should be obvious. -
