Video: Firemen to the rescue as sugar cane truck on Friendship Highway bursts into flames

A video published by Naew Na showed a ten wheel truck carrying sugar cane go up in smoke.

 

The driver managed to jump clear and the local fire brigade put out the blaze.

 

An electrical fault was blamed for the fire that quickly took hold. 

 

It happened on the Mitraphap Highway heading towards Udon Thani in NE Thailand.

Well that's one way to get rid of these overloaded, underpowered menace's off the road.

 

EDIT:- And, hopefully that'll be the last sign of black smoke we will see belching from this piece of garbage!

Cool down. Driver unharmed. And I doubt he owns anything of the truck or the load.

And even the load is little affected, some burnt tips in front. Trailer not at all.
