Wichitchai, 44, or "Nai Saen" was picked up at the Odeon roundabout on Charoen Krung road in Bangkok. Taken into evidence was his Honda Scoopy-i, a screwdriver and his delivery outfit. He was charged with theft at night while disguising himself and using a conveyance. The case began back on January 13th when a saleslady called Saowalak, 24, reported parking her Vios outside the temple of Wat Traimit that she was visiting to make merit. When she returned to her car the left rear window was smashed and a 23,000 baht notebook, cloth bag worth 300 baht and ten costumes worth 15,000 baht had gone. Picture: Daily News Plap Pla Chai police chief Pol Col Phanom Cheuathong said that CCTV belonging to the police and BMA and private individuals was examined that all pointed to Winitchai as the perpetrator. A search of his room was made and he admitted to everything. He said he sold the stolen items on the black market to get money for his children - his wife had left him.
